Queen Alexandra, the Prince of Wales and Princess Victoria boarded the Medina at Portsmouth and accompanied their Majesties tV London. The party was accorded an enthusiastic welcome at Victoria Station, where Ministers and Ambassadors welcomed them. Sir George Reid's office was decorated with the emblems of the six States'of the Commonwealth and the inscription, Australia hopes to see the King and Queen." The New Zealand office bore the inscription, "New Zealand welcomes their Majesties." . The Westralian and new Tasmanian offices were beflagged.
