A BOATING FATALITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. . ~ Dargaville, Monday.' James' CSi&eron, aged 35, was drowned yesterday a ipile below Mongonui Bluff, and three other men had a narrow escape. They were net fishing, and rounded a heavy school' of fish, but the backwater carried them off their feet in . a' deep bails. Ckmeron was unable to reach the shore, and sank and disappeared. His body haslet yet been recovered* DROWNING AT WAIHI.
Waihi, Monday. A young man named Albert Skinner was drowned in Bowentown Estuary yesterday. He was swimming out to an anchored boat; and when close to the boat was seen- to throw up his arms and '; " sink. The" body was recovered an hour •, later. ■ '■ '
