TEACHERS' SUMMER SCHOOL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, Saurday. The teachers' summer school has concluded its sessions. The daily attendance averaged 80. A considerable amount of the usual helpful work was done. Teachers are enthusiastic as to the advance of the school in helping them in their careers.
CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER* Chrisfchiirch, Saturday. In connection with the fatal accident which occurred in Cathedral Square, near Broadway's corner, on the afternoon of Friday, January 19, when Thos. Ryan was knocked down and run «ver by a motor-car, his injuries proving fatal in a few hours, an information has been laid charging the driver of the car, Reginald Blunden, of Bennett's, with manslaughter.
