Mr. Fisher is against asking the Prince of Wales to visit Australia as a military officer. He says any invitation should be for a visit as a prince. MOUNT LYELL RETURNS. Melbourne, February 2. Mount Lyell returns from December 28 to January 24 inclusive show that 10,267 tons of ore were treated, and produced 408 tons .blister copper containing 403 tons copper, 25,160 ounces silver" 510 ounces gold. FEDERAL CUSTOMS. Melbourne, February 2. The Fedfral Customs revenue for seven months increased £903,138 over that for the same period of last year. DAMAGE BY BUSH FIRES. Adelaide, February 2. Bush fires have swept miles of'country on the hills, and done great damage to orchards.
