The Rarawa, which arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning, was in charge of Captain Stephenson, of the Ngapuhi, 'Captain Norhury heing on'noliday leave. TJie vessel brought 99 tons of cargo, including 11 tons of cement, 16 tons flour, Uptons sugar and 500 cases fruit. i THE CORINNA. The Corinna,; from southern ports, arrived yesterday morning, her cargo amounting to 348 tons. This included 502 sacks, 365 hundreds. 585 fifties and 40 twenty-fives of flour, 30 sacks oats, 706 sacks wheat, 240 sacks pollard, and a quantity of'fruit, besides 24 sheep. Transhipments were brought ex Manuka and Kanna. The Corinna sailed about 4 p.m. for .Onehunga. She returns to-morrow and on Monday will load a large quantity of butter.
. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond is due from Onehunga to-day and will load a quantity of cheese and general cargo for Wellington. THE LATEST CUNARDER. The new twin-screw Cunarder Laconia has successfully completed her trial trip. The leading dimensions of the Laconia are: Length 625 ft and breadth 72ft; .her gross tonnage is about 19,000 and her displacement about 25,000 tons. The Laqonia will eventually run in the Liver-pool-Bpston service, though in the winter she will be employed in the Cunard cruises from New York to various.Mediterranean ports. Frahm's anti-rolling tanks have been installed. The cabins, as well as the public rooms are lofty, spacious, well ventilated, and heated. The general style of decoration in the ship is Georgian, known in "America as Colonial. The second-class accommodation has been carefully planned, and is in every way equal to what was provided for first-elass passengers only a few years ago. The third-class passengers have also been well catered for.
