It was a record.. tournament, I thirty-one teamsicompeting.. The following teams qualified for the semi-finals, which, with the finals, will be played off , on to Whitiora green to-morrow:— Section A Tekuiti, No, 1 (Power skip), .(3% wins. Section C, Whitiora, No. 1 (Mitchell)* ! 3%- wins. Section D, Te Aroha, No. l (Dalton), ! 3 wins. ' '• Section E, 'Whitiroa, No. 3 (McKin- | non, 4 wins. Section F, Rotorua, No. 1 (McFarlane), , 4 wins, qualifying for the semi-finals. Section B, waihi No. 1, Cambridge No. 1, and Paeroa No. 2, had an equal number of wins. In the play-off of, seven heads, Waihi won by one point. Waihi ancTPaeroa No. 2 play off the first thing in the morning. In Section D, Te Aroha No. 1, and Whitiora No. 2, tied. In the play-off Te Aroha won. The scores 'were 4—7.
