NEW ZEALAND CYCLING UNION,

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. A conference of delegates of the New Zealand Athletic Cycling Union was held at Hamilton last night, Mr. Kennedy, president, in the chair.' It was decided to severely censure the North Canterbury Centre for their action in the not' grantinig a permit to the Christchurch Cycle and Motor Club, and to request that a duly audited statement of the affairs of the centre be presented to the council, or that their affiliation be cancelled. Twentyeight days were allowed in which to comply. <

The conference unanbaously confirmed the action of the president in granting a permit to the ..Christchurch Club for their meeting after it was refused 'by the North Canterbury Association. A further resolution was passed giving the council power to suspend any centre or club not complying with an order or decision of the council.

The next clia.mpionship meeting and conference was fixed for Blenheim. The officers were elected as follows:

Patron, Mr. G. W. Wood (Invercargill); president, Mr. Kennedy (Geraldine); vice-presidents, Messrs. Duncan (Auckland), Clarke (Tamaki) and Calender; secretary, Mr. Fraser; committee, Messrs. Gilfedder (Auckland), Fisher (Blenheim), Wilson (Greymouth), Hansen (Eltliam) and Mackay (Dunedin).
