The aviator Beachley, wishing to play a joke on the only lady aviator engaged in the meeting, aeroplar.ed round the field garbed as a woman, and performed remarkable feats in mid-air. The aviator Howard Gill fell 300 ft. at Los Angeles, but escaped with broken ribs.
