THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND PORM3AOT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meterologioal Office has issued the following weather summary and forecast:—The barometer has risen in the south, and southerly winds have prevailed, with changeable weather. Cloudy and misty weather is reported this afternoon in many parts, especially in the North Island, and there are indications for the development of a cyclonic disturbance to the north-eastwaTd of the Dominion. Present indications are somewhat threatening in the northern and eastern parts of the North Island, bnt not definite enough for a storm forecast. Strang south-easterly winds are probable northward of Farewell Spit and Eaikoura, with unsettled and cloudy weather and showers on the east coast. Southerly breezes and changeable conditions are probable elsewhere. The barometer is likely to fall about the East Gape, but is due to rise high in the south.
