THE CENTRAL SCHOOL.

To the Editor. Sir,—Dili the chairman of the Central School Committee think he ha'd any chance of getting a new school from the' Education Board as it is at pr.esent constituted ? He knows very well that it requires many applications to get a chair or a Small clock for the class rooms, and it was 'many many, many years before the committee could get the old antiquated desks more modern ones. My experience on the committee for several years convinced me, and I think rightly that the Board and its inspectors had a "set" on the Central School. It must be very disheartening to the teachers to have to work under such conditions, and we as parents should raise our protest at a public meeting.— I am, etc., EX-COMMITTEMAN.
