THE "NE TEMERE" DECREE

The United Protestant demonstration adopted a series of resolutions against tte "ne temere" decree, asking the Federal Government to prohibit its promulgation and to secure its nullification. NOT WANTED IN CANADA. Ottawa, January 26. It is understood that strong repre-' sentations have been made by the Catholic authorities in Canada requesting the Vatican not to apply the "ne temere" decree in the Dominion, excluding Canada in a similar manner to the way in which Germany has been excluded.
