At the trial of the woman Hazzard the Judge said there was positive evidence that the jury was being tampered with. He issued a stern warning, saying that the discovery of the guilty party would result in imprisonment for him. He exonerated counsel on both sides. Mrs. Hazzard's counsel asked for an acquittal, but the judge refused. _ .
