DUKE OF CONNAUGHT.
VISIT TO NEW YORK. By Oa&e—Press Association—Oopyriykt. New York, January 23. The Duke of Connaught has decided to call at the White House, Washington. He leaves on a visit to the President on Thursday. He was entertained at dinner at Mr. Whitelaw Reid's mansion. The guests included Cardinal Farley, the Governor, and Mrs. Dix. Fifty covers were laid. The Duke spent the afternoon in sightseeing in Fifth Avenue, accompanied only by his aide-de-camp.
