The opening ceremony was fixed for Thursday, February 1, 1912, at 2 p.m It was resolved that those present be a committee to work up the affair. It was also resolved that the chairman of the Road Board be asked to interview the Inglewood Tradesmen's Association, re closing business places at 12 noon, instead of 1 p.m. on that date, and that Mrs. J. B. Hmc be asked to cut the ribbon at the opening; also that the chairman of the County Council be asked to be present, with any other members of the Moa riding who may accompany him. It was also resolved that subscription Usts be got out, and that Messrs. Boldt Capper and Hunter be appointed to canvass their respective districts Messrs. Boldt and Capper were deputed to wait on the Moa Road Board at its meeting on Saturday.
