FOUR NEW STEAMER& By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The Union Steamship Company has four steamers in the hands of Home builders, viz., an intercolonial liner of 13,000 tons, a twin vessel to the Maori for the Lyttelton-Wellington service, and two cargo steamers. Of the latter, one is a sister ship to the Kowhai, specially constructed for service at shallow harbors, and will be christened Karamu. Its registered tonnage is 8000 tons. The other is a larger vessel of 8750 tons, and will be named the Katoa. Both steamers will be equipped with the latest appliances for the rapid removal of cargo.
