At the Supreme Court, Thomas Veitch, found guilty in the lower eourt of having received a cheque knowing the same to have .been stolen, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment from the date of the trial. Edgar Moore and Victor Smith, having pleaded guilty to five charges of breaking, entering and theft, were each committed to prison to be retained for reformatory purposes for a term of two years. Duncan Alexander Calderwood, convicted of breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, was committed to prison to be detained for reformative treatment for two years.
