METBpPOLITAN COMMITTEE. The Taranaki Jockey Club Metropolitan Committee met on Tuesday evening. Present:—Messrs. C. M. Lepper (in the chair), Sole, Orbell, Elliott, L. B. Webster, Blundell, Standish, W. C. Weston, and Col. Ellis,
The Patea Racing Club's programme for a non-totalisator meeting to be held on April 8, Easter Monday, was approved.
The following licenses were granted:— Trainer's, H. W. Johnston; jockeys', J. W. Clareburt, R. J. Milne; gentlemen riders', Messrs. R. Murray and H. H. Marchant.
apprentice in the employ of iR. J. Milne, -who was reported for misbehaviour, was cautioned. TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB.
The same committee subsequently sat as a committee of the Taranafci Jockey Club. Pour new members were elected. Accounts were passed for payment amounting to £SB lis sd. The meeting then adjourned.
