TIME TO CALL A HALT.
AUSTRALIAN POSTAL DEMANDS. By Cable—Puss Association—Copyright Melbourne, January 17. The Postmaster-General, replying to a deputation of letter-carriers airing their grievances, said that the Government considered it had done the fair thing by the postal employees, and he did not think there was any reasonable chance of making further concessions this year, except by order of the Arbitration Court. In view of the increases granted he thought 1t was time to call a halt.
