«' SMALL GIRL SAVES A TRAIN.

A head-on collision occurred at Longrun, Kentucky, a passenger train being derailed owing to its contact with a train of, cars. Four trainmen were killgd v 'and all passengers slightly injured.
Eileen Martin, aged seven, signalled with a. flag to the east-bound overland limited train at Sacramento in time to prevent it striking a broken rail. The train would certainly have ««e» wrecked had it n<Jt been for the girl's action. The company promises the child a handsome reward for her bravery.
