Lee has again been elected to represent the Wanganui, ' Hawera, and' New Plymouth branches at the Locomotive Engine Drivers, Firemen, and Cleaners' Association conference to be held in Christcliurch in February. A London cablegram reports the death at Florence of Mr. Henry Labouchere,! the proprietor of the well known London Weekly Truth. Mr. Labouchere, who was eighty of age, was a member of Parliament from 1864 to 1005. For most ►of this period he sat for Northampton, and for some years had Mr. Bradlaugh as his colleague. He was a member of the Jameson Raid Commission in 180(1.
