NAJPIER WOOL SALE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. The second wool sale of this season's series was held to-day, when the local brokers offered 21,150 bales to a large number of buyers from the various parts of the Dominion, Great Britain, and the Continent. The competition for lota suitable for America was keen and at times the prices realised wore beyond expectations. There was a brisk demand for lambs' wool by Continental buyers, especially those representing the French houses. The range of prices was: Halfbred, 94 to lOV2 d; crossbred, fine, 9d to 12y 4 d; crossbred, medium, 8y 2 d to 9%d; crossbred, coarse, 7%d to 8y 4 d; lambs' wool, 6y 2 d to 10% d; first pieces, 6%d to B%d;< second pieces, 5y 2 d to 6y 2 d; bellies, s'/ 2 d to 7y 4 d; crutchings, 4 3 Ad to 6d; locks, 3%d to 4y 3 d.
