THE KING AND HIS SUBJECTS.
WANTS TO SEE MORE OF THtfM.
GOES AGAINST HIS MINISTERS.
By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, Jantfajry 16.
The Daily Telegraph's London correspondent says it is generally believed that the King went to India against the strongly expressed adviJe of his Ministers, who considered he was running a risk in view of the many cases of sedition.
The King and Queen made light of the danger, believing that none of their Indian subjects would attempt to assassinate them.
The King is of opinion that the Empire will be much strengthened by occasional visits of the reigning Monarch to all its greater parts. It is understood he pressed his views on his advisers. The correspondent adds that he has it upon very high authority that the King and Queen wish to revisit Australia, Canada and South Africa at an early date. The tour has already been undeiconsideration.
