FIRES IN VICTORIA.
TWO TOWNSHIPS DAMAGED. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne. January 15. A large hall, six shops mid two dwellings at Monthag-ji have ln-cn destroyed by fire. The origin of the fire was unknown. A more serious outbreak took place at Williiura. There wire ro fin- lighting apparatus, and twelve shop,;, constituting half the business portion of the town, were destroyed. Th" amount of damage is not known.
