NORTHERNi TOURNAMENT. YESTERDAY'S PLAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The annual tournament of the Northern Bowling Association was continued to-day in fine weather. The greens were very true and fast. Competition for the championship has been now reduced to three rinks, of which the following are the skips: Still (Wellington), Walker (Ponsonby), and Wylie (Newtown. Tomorrow morning Still meets Walker, and in the afternoon Wylie. meets the winner. The second series of section play to-day for the championship resulted as follows: SECTION A. First Round: Lock 24 v. Kerr !lßj Still 21 v. Land 12. Second round:' Still 20 v. Lock 19; Land 21 v. Kerr 14. Third round: Lock 25 v. Land 13: Still 21 v. Kerr 16. SECTION B. First round: Bell 23 v. Craig 16; Walker 19 v. Hemingway ISI Section round: Bell 21 v. Hemingway 20; Walker 19 v. Craig 14. Third round: Walker 20 v. Bell 14; Hemingway 27 v. Craig 15. SECTION C. First round: Wylie 20 v. Snaddon 12; McDougall 22 v. Gordon 17. Second round: Wylie 19 v. Gordon 15; Snaddon 24 v. McDougall 16. •Third round: Wylie 21 v. McDougall 20; Snaddon 25 v. Gordon 16. CONSOLATION PRIZE.
