TARANAKI EGG CIRCLE.

A meeting of the recently formed egg circle was held in the Town Hall last evening. There was only a small attendanca. ..:.gjftf Mr. Boulton, who was elected to the chair, said it was disappointing to see so few present. Rules had been'drawn up by Mr. Pott, who was acting as. secretary, but it 'required a larger attendance to warrant them 'going on with the circle. The public will benefit through the egg circle and will pay no more for them, but wil have the advantages of having the eggs guaranteed. Several of those present endorsee what was said. On the motion of Mr. F. L. Webster seconded by Mr. Scott, it was decidec that those present form themselves int< a canvassing committee, and, taking tin lead, handed in their subscriptions to tin secretary. It was decided to meet on Saturday week, and if they consider that enougl people have subscribed to the circle, <i general meeting will be called, and of fleers appointed and other business trans acted to further the interests of the circle.
