Another mysterious theft of jewellery —the sixth reported within the last few days—was, carried out early yesterday morning, when articles valued, at over £ISOO were stolen from the shop, of Mr. E. The burglars who visited Mr. Needes' shop yesterday made their- way injby. climbing on the low roof of the pledge department, and then forcing a skylight. Their spoil consisted of 240 wedding rings, 100' diamond rings, over fifty gold bracelets, some jewelled, a number of watches, about fifty old English gold coins, some foreign coins, banknotes, and valuable antiquities. William Lee, who was described as one of'the most daring jewel-shop thieves in London, was found guilty at the Old Bailey yesterday of stealing £3200 worth of jewellery, including, 1846 rings and BTO pairs of ear-rings, from a traveller's brougham at Wood Green on September 5.
