THE EMPIRE PICTURES. There was again a good attendance at the Empire Theatre last night to see the excellent pictures put on, "The Sedge ' of Calais" is an entertainment in itself ( whilst "Lost, in the Jungle," with its real animal scenes—the rush of a ti»er ] on the hapless girl and the latter's sub- ' , sequent .rescue by a huge | very interesting. The other part of the ' programme is well up to the usual high f standard. Probably no better programme has ever .been shown in the district It C wall be repeatfd for the last time to- I night. I J"
