PETROLEUM NEWS.
TARANAKI (N.Z.) OIL WELLS, LTD. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. A cable has been received stating that the London Board of Directors of the Taranaki (New Zealand) Oil Wells, Ltd., has now been fixed and comprises the following:— The Earl of Ranfuirly, G.C.M.G. (chairman), chairman of the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Ltd. Mr. Joseph Brailsford, chairman of. the Ebbwvale Steel, Iron, and Coal Co., Ltd. Sir John Harrington, K.C.M.G., chairman of the Oil Trust, Ltd. Mr. A. L. Horner, K.C., MP., Director of South African Territories, Ltd. Major D. H. Alexander, C.M.G. It is probable that one more director may be added to the London Board at a later date, and doubtless Mt. H. J. Brown will be invited to fill the position.
