- ■■' mm TWO MAORIS LOSE THEIR LIVES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Tauranga, January 6. An old Maori couple named Tehiri Tawha and Pare Kakarahaka, were burned to death in a whare at Matakana Island on Tuesday night. There is no clue to the origin of the fire.
