RECORD PRICES AT HOME. By Telegraph—Press Association. Eltham, Friday. Mr. George H. Buokeridge, New Zealand representative of Henry. A. Lane and Co., London, has received cabled advice of the-sale of another parcel of Hawera factory cheese, which hod taken prizes at the Dominion Show at Hawera, at a price equal to 6%d nett to the consignors. This is believed to be a record price for New Zealand cheese on the Home market, and is %d higher than the price obtained for the sale of any New Zealand factory output, so that open consignment is proving the more profitable this season. This price is 2s per cvvt. better than the best Canadian was bringing. At she same time indications point, to further hardening in' the cheese market. BUTTER PRICES. Palmerston N., Friday. Glen Oroua Dairy Co. received the following cablegram from Weddel and Co., London, to-day: "First grade New Zealand salted butter T3tis, Danish 1375. The market is excited' and further advances are expected."
