American buyers have signed new contracts wtih the potash mine owners, the Americans thereby losing 25,000,000 dollars as compared with earlier contracts. The American Congressional Report suggests that the giant kelps of the Pacific Coast are capable of yielding a million tons of potassium chloride yearly.
