CABLE CONCESSIONS.
STATEMENT BYHENNIKER HEATON By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Melbourne, January 4. Mr. Henniker Heaton declared that the cable concessions were made out of alarm resulting from the agitation for reductions. The concessions were amusing and illusory. The}- would merely benefit the millionaire and prove unsatisfactory to Australia and New Zealand. He would not be satisfied till he was able to cable twelve words for a shilling between England and Australia, or vice versa. It was within the range of practicability.
