A WORLD'S RECORD. By Selegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Sunday. The Upper Hutt Axemen's Carnival Was held on Saturday in perfect weather. There wa9 a large attendance. In the double-handed sawing handicap A. .Weston and C. 1 Bourke lowered the, world's record by one and a fifth seconds for 18in log. Weston holds the world's championship for single-handed sawing, and C. j'Bourke holds, with Beban, the double-handed championship of Australasia, both of which were won at Eltham last week.
