A BIG FIRE.
BUSINESS PLACES DESTROYED. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Received 28, 9.25 p.m. Sydney. December 28. Fire destroyed the business portion of Narrabi West. Three hotels and seven business premises were burned. There is no water ■apply, and there were several narrow escapes from death by burning. The damage is estimated at £20,000.
