Professor von Wasscrmann, a distinguished bacteriologist, in a paper read before a medical society, stated that lie had made experiments with mice affected with carcinoma and sarcoma, two forms of cancer. The injection of toxin and solenium softened the tumors in three days and the last remnant was completely absorbed a week later.
Professor Wasscrmann issued a. warning against the assumption that the cure was necessarily applicable to the human being, on whom experiments had not yet been tried. , iA
