McKEXXA. London. December 22. Mr. McKenna denies the accuracy of his letter about Lord Charles Beresford. -wtiicb was published without his authority. London. December 23. Mr. McKenna, interviewed, said he could not remember the exact phrases in the letter, but believed it had been misquoted. He expressed his regret, and said that Lord Beresford's mistake was due to a mistranslation of his sentiments.
