LOSS OF A SCHOONER.
CREW SAFE IN HOBART. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. A Hobart cable message to Mr. Joseph Hatch, the owner, states that the schooner Clyde, lias been wrecked at the Macquarics. All hands were saved and returned to Hobart by the Antarctic tender vessel the Toroa, which also brought up 389 casks of oil the Clyde purchased at Wellington last August. It was her first trip to the Maoquaries. She was uninsurable and without steam power. Coming immediately after the loss of the Jessie Nichol, 'the furtheT loss is very unfortunate. Captain W. Smith was in command. An inquiry has opened at Hobart.
