ALLEGED POLITICAL INFLUENCE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 17, 5.5 p.m. London, December 17. Mr. Primrose, M.P., sharply attacked Lord Loreborn in connection with the appointment of magistrates. The Premier replied before a Royal Commission that there had been appointed -2758 Liberals, 804 Conservatives and 1733 whose politics were unknown since the appointed men were nominated, by advisory committees. A resolution approving Lord Loreburn's action was carried by 131 to 39.
