After his release, armed with a gun and a razor, he went to the families responsible for his conviction, shut the husband and wife of one family in a room and cut their throats. He then rowed to the other house, shot and killed a boy of sixteen and his mother, and seriously wounded the father. After eating a hearty meal, he cycled to the police station and asked to be arrested as the murderer.
