Mr. 11. G. Sergei, of Eltham, is leaving shortly for England. On his return he proposes settling in the Waikato district. Steps are being taken to tangibly recognise the Hon. T. Y. Duncan's long and valuable services in the cause of Liberalism in New Zealand (states a Press Association telegram). His friends in the Oamaru constituency feel that he should not be allowed to pass out of public life without something being clone to suitably recognise so extended a period of faithful Parliamentary effort in their interests.
