DISCOURAGED SUITOR ATTEMPTS MURDER AND SUICIDES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, December 15. A tragedy took place at Crabbe's Creek, near Murwillumbah. John Corich, a foreigner, shot Cissie Hulian in the breast, through her bedroom window. More shots were heard during the night, and subsequently Corich was found dead with a bullet wound in his body. Miss Hulian's condition is dangerous. The murderer was infatuated with the victim, but his attentions were discouraged by her family.
