At the swimming carnival the Allcomers' professional championship, of 440 yards, was won by Dickman 1, Harrower 2, Read 3. Time, oniin 51 2-ssec. In the ladies' world challenge, of 440 yards, Miss Tate defeated Miss Liddle. Time, 7min 24sec. In the All-comers' 220 yards championship, Dickman was first, Read second, and Harrowcr third. Time, 2min 38 sec.
