SCAFFOLDING BREAKS.
200 WORKMEN PRECIPITATED INTO A RIVER. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. St. Petersburg, December 8. Tee broke a wooden scaffolding on a new railway bridge over the Volga river, near Kazan. Two hundred workmen were precipitated into the river. Four bodies were recovered. The icebreakers are seeking for the survivors, hoping that they clambered on to ice floes.
