LAYING A FOUNDATION STONE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 9. 1.55 p.m. Delhi, December 8. The King laid the foundation stone of an All India Memorial to King Edward. It was an impressive ceremony. CELEBRATIONS AT BENARES. Received 10, 5.15 p.m. Bombay. December 9. Their Majesties' State entry into Delhi was celebrated at Benares. Their portraits were borne on a howdab. followed l>y a profession a mile in length, including elephants, camels, artillery, cavalry, infantry, school children and carriages filled with the richer folk, to Queen's Park, admist enormous and enthusiastic throngs.
