There were 2000 spectators at the Nottinghain match between the English League team and tlu< Australasians. The Englishmen won by five points to three. England scored a tr.v which was converted in the lirat five minutes. An even game followed. The Australasians by clever passing then threatened danger. After tlie interval, Famsworth and Russell made .brilliant runs. The English backs' tackling was faulty. Frawley scored a clever try, which was not converted.
