The Department of Comerce has received the following cable from Buenos Ayres. dated December 5: —The following shipments of produce have been despatched from Argentina to United Kingdom ]x>rts during November, 1911, compared with November, IMO: — Forzen beef—loll, 122,000 quarters, 1910, 125,000 quarters; chilled beef, 190,000 quarters (172,805 quarters)'; frozen mutton, 270,000 carcases (305,543 carcases) ; frozen lamb, Id 7,000 carcases (02,710 carcases); butter, 0802 cwt. (OSOOcwt). DAIRY PRODUCE REPORT. I Messrs E. Griffiths and Co. are in re- ; ceipt of the following market report from their London principals, Messrs J Mills and Sparrow, dated October 27: — The mild weather which has prevailed | during the last few weeks in this country, and on the Continent, has been somewhat against the butter market, but with the lower temperature which is now prevailing we expect- the trade will shortly resume a more healthy appearance. Danish: The quotation has again been reduced, this time by two kroner, and a steady market is now expected. Siberian: Arrivals now are considerably less than they were a few weeks ago, and prices are on a more moderate level. It is reported that there are about 40,000 casks less in cold store in Siberia than at this period last year. Australian: The Mooltan's butters have been on the market this week and have met with a ready sale, at a slight reduction on last week's quotations.
