The steamer Tees, with many passengers on board, struck a rock off tJm r—*?>■_ > —' re ] ess message summoned aid, :mhl then there was silence. A tug has been despatched. Ottawa, December 1. Tugs have been despatched from Vancouver to aid the steamer Tees, which was unable to enter a land-locked bay during a storm. The wireless apparatus aboard till e Tees is broken, and the fate of the passengers is unknown. Received 3, 5.10 p.m. Vancouver, December 2. Distress signals from the Tees were picked up by wireless. It is believed the passengers are safe.
