ACCUSED PLEAD GUILTY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. New York, December 1. At Los Angeles, James McNamara pleaded guilty to a charge of murdering Charles Haggerty, a machinist killed in the Times explosion. John McXamara pleaded guilty to a charge of placing dynamite in the Llewellyn Ironworks. THE BROTHERS McXAMARA SENTENCED. CONSTERNATION IN LABOR CIRCLES. Received 3, 5.10 p.m. New York, December 2. The result in the MacNaniara case created an immense sensation throughout the United States. The Labor orgairsations prominently defended the MacNamaras, and their pleas of guilty came as a severe blow to the labor ranks. The prosecuting attorney asserts that the brothers MacNamara did not intend to murder the Times employees, and that the bomb was of insufficient power to destroy the building. But a gas explosion started the fire causing the deaths. James will be sentenced to life imprisonment, and John to fifteen years, if the court agrees with the judgment on Tuesday next. It is stated that further outrages arc likely at Los Angeles, due to the illfeeling aroused by the trial.
