A FAMILY SLAIN.

9m SUPPOSED MURDER AND SUICIDE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 3, 5.10 p.m. Melbourne, December 3. Frank Pooling, his wife and three children were found dead with their throats cut, r at Kvabram. It is supposed to be a case of murder and suicide. There are no details. A GHASTLY DEED. SUPPOSED JEALOUSLY THE REASON Received 3, 5.10 p.m. Melbourne, December 3. Pooling (or Cooling) was a laborer, a quiet hard-working man. He was born in the Kvabram district. Jealousy, quarrelling and law proceedings appear to have unhinged his mind. Two children awoke and found their father, mother and two brothers, aged eleven and nine, and a, six weeks old baby dead, with their throats cut, lying on the floor of one of the rooms. How the other two is escaped is remarkable. Blood was splashed on them, and a blood-stained razor was found near Cooling, broken bv the force used. Cooling was apparently shaving when the tragedy occurred.
