FIRST DAY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The Otagio A. and P. Association's show opened to -day. The weather was fine but cold, and; a very strong wind prevailed, making matters very unpleasant for the spectators, of whom a fair number were present. The entries totalled 949, as against 905 last year. The decrease was confined to sheep and pigs. The following championships were awarded:— *

Lincoln, ram and ewe, JTiZ. and Agency Lamdi Co. Inbred halifbreds, ram and ewe N.Z. and Agency Land Co. Romney Marsh, ram, Ladbrook and Son (Charlton); ewe, T. L. BarnliiH (Lumsden). Horses.—Champion mare, Thomson nnd Co. (Waironga).
